Today, Josh and I were able to hear our little one's heart beat! It was so so cute!! Im super excited and Im also relieved to know that everything is alright. Josh, looked like he wanted to cry when our doctor finally found the heart beat! It was so cute. He is going to make such a wonderful dad!! Im so lucky to have a guy like him. That was all that really happend today during our appointment. Hopefully on Jan 3rd (our next one) we will be able to get another ultrasound. Perhaps, we will be able to also find out the sex. ( I highly doubt that one since I will only be about 16 wks and most find out around 18 to 20 wks). -*Cross your fingers*
I hope you all have a wonderful week!! :)

Candy Canes and Snowflakes
Well its officially December 2010! That's so crazy to me!!! This year went by super fast. I fear, that the years to come will be even faster. I'm not so sure that I am officially ready to get into the "old people" routine of complaining how fast the years have gone! I miss the days of when Christmas took forever to get here. Although, it did seem like forever to me. Now its only 24 days away!!!!! Im so excited.
Josh and I officially have 4 days until our ultra sound. I will be 11 weeks. Im almost done with the first trimester. It has gone by really fast for me! I can't believe it.
So what was up with "the blizzard of century" Um, hello?? like not even a week later another storm hit and Tooele recieved way more snow than that silly blizzard gave! Although, I did like not having to go into work that day. I am definitely loveing all the snow. Josh is going crazy because he hasn't been snowboarding yet! I wish I could go this year. But, I can't :( Oh well. There is always next year.
For Thanksgiving, Josh and I hosted it at our house. Boy, that was a stressful day. I thought it would be easy since we wouldn't be cooking everything, but when the guests arrived, I realized our house is a lot smaller than it looks! Overall, it was a fun time. Delicious food and wonderful family!
Well, that's about it as far as the updating goes. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week :)

No Longer a Tadpole
Well folks, I am officially 8 weeks today! We went to the doctor this last Monday, and everything went great! We were able to see the heartbeat. It was so awesome! Yet, at the sametime I was terrified. Its so scary to think that I am going to be a mom. Our due date is set for June 24th 2011! Im so excited and Josh is as well. :) Our next appointment is on December the 6th. I dont think I can wait that long.
Some more good news! I am officially a business partner for "Fade Away Massage". Apparently, the interview went really well because 2 days later my partner Morgan called me and offered me the job! I was so excited I could hardly wait to get off work and go to my new job. Hopefully by January, I can become full time and quit working here at the U of U. As much as I love it here, the commute is getting to me and I dont make a lot of money. Although, I am very grateful to have 2 jobs in this tough economy. Well thats about all I have as far as updating goes. Nothing really has happend. I hope you all are having a wonderful week! Have a GREAT weekend.

Baby Rowley and all its glory! and other stuff...
Well friends,
Its been a bit since I last updated. First off, let me tell you how our first prenatal appointment went.
When we first got there, it took FOREVER for the doctor to finally come in. (Maybe it really wasn't that long but it sure felt that way). After we chatted for a bit, she took Josh and I into the ultrasound room. When she first started the ultrasound, it was very nerve racking. She looked very concerned and was very quiet. So I began to panic inside a little bit. After sitting there for what seemed hours she finally spoke. She said that she believes I am in a very early pregnancy and thinks I am only about 4 weeks along. She also had told me that I am in a higher risk for miscarrying. But she assured me that she didnt believe I was in a miscarry. She told me and Josh to remain positive and not to worry too much. Luckily I am still having "beautiful" morning sickness. (That's a good thing no matter how awful it sounds). We go in for another ultrasound this upcoming Monday. Hopefully by then we will be able to get exact dates of when I will be due. I am so excited and I feel really good about this. Its amazing what the support of family, friends and our Father in Heaven can do for a troubled mind. Sorry the update was so short. I didnt want to go into too much detail, because Im sure that most of you already know the details.
Some other good news!! I have a job interview this coming Monday as well. It will be for a massage therapist who currently has her own business and is looking for a partner. I am so excited! I really hope I get this job. Massage is my passion and its been so hard for me to find a job in the field because it is such a demand. I hope all goes well. Hopefully everyone is having a wonderful day! I will try and keep this blog updated more.

And Then There Were Three...
Well ladies and gent's! As you may know, Josh and I are expecting our first child. There isn't much I can say right now. We go in for our first ultrasound this upcoming Monday (October 25th). I'm super excited!!! I have a feeling I am about 8 weeks but we will just have to wait and see. So far I have been blessed with harldy having any morning sickness. The biggest problem I seem to be facing right now is, I get car sick either when I am driving or when someone else is driving. I also have severe cramping at times throughout the day. It isn't follwed with any bleeding nor does it go on every day. Other than that Im ok! However, I do have occasional dizzy spells. Hopefully all this will be resolved soon. I guess I have a lot more going on then I thought.
So you want to know how I told Josh? Well you get to know anyways :) So here I was sitting at work (as usual) when I noticed I hadn't been feeling well. I told my friend about this who had known the whole time that we were trying. She told me for the millionth time to "GO TAKE A TEST". Well at first I was hesitant to because, I had taken one a few weeks prior and it had come out negative. Well the whole car ride home I was debatig on whether or not to go and take one. I knew Josh was going to be home early because he had his EMT class. At the moment, I realized that, I didn't want to go and buy one, for fear Josh would see. Well, at the last minute before I turned onto the road that leads to our house, I turned into the Walgreens parking lot. I sat in the car for a moment trembling. I was so nervous! After a few minutes of sitting there, I went inside. I bought the test, shoved the bag in my purse (you never know who you could run into in Tooele County) and jolted for my car. After arriving home, I was grateful to see that Josh was mowing the lawn. I quickly opened the box, put the tests in my purse, threw the box on my car floor and went inside. Its a good thing I had to use the restroom anyways because otherwise, I couldn't have ran as fast as I did. And now the moment of truth.... I was so scared to look at the test! Part of me was hoping for a negative and the other part really really really wanted a positive! When I saw the double line (positive result), I didn't know if I was imagining it or not. I didn't know what to do! I couldn't just run outside and ask Josh and I couldn't call my mom. So I ended up calling my friend who had told me to take the test in the first place. She immediately told me to come over as soon as I could. I had to think of an excuse...FAST! Then I remembered she takes infant massage from me and has one more session left. The PERFECT excuse! I went outside and told Josh where I was going and "why" and left it at that. When I returned home after hearing the news of I'm going to be a mommy, I found Josh. I wasn't quite sure how to bring it up. I walked up to him and hugged him, shaking, then proceeded to tell him.."I have something to tell you"... At first he thought I had gotten a speeding ticket or something but once he found the news out, he couldn't stop smiling for literally 2 hours straight! It was so cute!! He is extremly excited to be a dad. And so are the new grandma's to be! This will be each of their's first grandbaby! They are so excited. My mother-inlaw SCREAMED!! and my sister-inlaw hyperventalated!! My family wasn't quite as ecstatic. Don't get me wrong, they are extremly excited they just didn't show it at the time. I think it was a big shock to them seeing as how we told each of our families we would be waiting at least 2 years before we had kids. We surprised the families by hand delivering flowers to them. The flowers were in a glass baby bottle with a pacifier tied around it! It was such a cute idea and I think it made a lasting impression on them :)
I am so excited for this baby to come!! I cant wait to tell you more about what is happening in our little world. :)

Hot chocolate and Marshmellows
Well its finally fall! I am so excited! Fall, is my favorite season. I love the smells, the colors, the warm fuzzy's and all the family time. Plus, it's also cold so now I can make hot chocolate without Josh looking at me like I'm crazy! Well, not a lot has been going on since my last post. Our little family is just working away. Hopefully, with the holidays coming up, we will be able to do some fun activities. I just had a phone call at work from an older gentleman, asking for the U of U chronicle's phone number. While on my search to find the number for him, he began telling me a story of how important it is to smile. He then preceded to tell me a joke...It went like this, " A lady was asking the Mormon missionaries why all of their first names begin with Elder when the phone numbers begin with 801"....Yeah, I didnt get it either but, he asked if I smiled and I couldn't help but do just that. He was such a sweet old man! He made my day. I wish all the callers could be like him. But unfortunately, it isn't that way.
So a lot of debate has been going on about the Mormons and the Gays. Honestly, it really irritates me with all the hatred going on. I wish that people would just learn to accept the fact that, people are going to choose the way they live. We shouldn't try and change someone or make them feel horrible about themselves just because the chose not to live the way we do. We need to be respectful of everyone whether you are LDS, gay, black, white, muslim or any other lifestyle. I don't support gay marriage, but i'm not so against it to the point that I will bash on anyone that I can. I know a few gay people, and they are some of the nicest people I've ever met. I also know a few LDS members who think they are holier than God himself. We all just need to live like Christ and love people no matter what! Sorry for ranting. I just had to get it off of my chest. Thanks for reading :) Love you all!

Bookworm
So, today I am determined to finish at least part 2 of the book I am reading. The book is called, "The Vital Touch". I am having to read this for my infant massage certification. Its a very interesting book but, when you have a computer in front of you and all you want to do is play online, well it's kind of hard to get through. I have until October 31 to have everything done. Hopefully I will be able to make it. The book so far talks about how America is slowly becoming lazy when it comes to nuturing their children. Of course, not all women are the way that the book explains, but it really has opened my eyes. Its so true with some of the things we, as a society are coming to. I hope that when I have kids, I will be able to be the best mom for them that I can be. I wish that I could put the book on here so that you all can understand what I am talking about! I also hope that I didn't offend any of you. Not that there are many of you following me at this point and time lol. Thanks for reading I suppose! Love you all!

Working Hard... or Hardly Working?
Well this post is probably going to be pretty boring, but I thought I would give you an update as to where the Rowley's are making their income. Josh is currently working at Morton Salt. He has been working there for about 2 years. He hates the job but it pays the bills. I'm just glad he isn't on graveyards anymore. As for me, I am currently working at the U of U as a telephone operator. My job sounds pretty boring and at times, it sure can be. But I am grateful to at least have a job! Plus, it's a bonus working at the BEST school in the world!! (Sorry to all you BYU fans.) I also, have my own massage business. My business is called "Tranquility Touch Massage". It's pretty rewarding being a massage therapist. I love it! Well, that's it for this blog. Sorry if it was boring !

The Newbee
Hey friends it Steffani here! I decided to give in an create a blog (it seems so much more adult). But before I continue on my new adventure of blogging, here are a few things that you should know...
1. This is my first time ever blogging, so please forgive me if this looks weird.
2. Please don't ever expect Josh to blog. He hardly ever get on facebook so I highly doubt he will have any intentions of blogging.
3. Our life together is an epic adventure. So, put on your helmets and and fasten your seat belts because your mind WILL be blown away with intense awesome-ness!
Enjoy! :)
